The 62nd International Artists' colony of Hajdúság

This year, for the second time, I was invited to Hungary's oldest artists' colony in my hometown, Hajdúböszörmény. I gladly accepted the invitation, partly because of my excellent fellow artists, and partly because of nostalgia, as none of my ancestors live here anymore, so I have rarely visited this place in the last 20 years. It was a strange feeling to revisit the places and routes of my childhood and realize that not only has the town changed, but also how differently I perceive these spaces now compared to when I was a child. An exhibition was organized from the works created at the artist colony, and, according to tradition, the curators also awarded prizes. This year, I was awarded the Prize for Excellence.
